I love the now famous 2 Ingredient Dough recipe. Honestly, 2 Ingredient Dough is the best recipe I’ve ever been given. Combine yogurt and self-rising flour and you have a dough. Two Ingredient Dough is that easy. And of course, recipes using 2 Ingredient Dough are that easy too.
There’s nearly no kneading required. And there’s no waiting for the dough to proof since there’s no yeast in 2 Ingredient Dough. So recipes don’t take that long to make.
You can use 2 Ingredient Dough to make everything from pizza to pastries. The recipes using 2 Ingredient Dough are almost endless.
Almost.
Because you’re not using this to make a salad. Although, you could use it to make croutons for that salad.
The recipe for 2 Ingredient Dough is easy, however, I have had a few flops using 2 Ingredient Dough. My 2 Ingredient Dough Bread Bowls for soup never remind me of a restaurant’s. But some of my 2 Ingredient Dough recipes are perfect, like my 2 Ingredient Dough Pita Chips.

2 Ingredient Dough: Frequently Asked Questions
What Is 2 Ingredient Dough?
It’s, quite literally, dough made from two ingredients. You mix together equal parts Greek yogurt and self-rising flour to form a dough. Once the dough is made, you can use it immediately. Two ingredient dough doesn’t have to rest.
To find out how to make the dough, with a few more nuances than the above paragraph, check out our 2 Ingredient Dough recipe or the recipe card at the end of this post.
Is 2 Ingredient Dough Weight Watchers-friendly?
I don’t know where the recipe for 2 Ingredient Dough originated. I got it from a friend who isn’t on Weight Watchers. However, I know a lot of people who are on WW use two ingredient dough because an entire batch of 2 Ingredient Dough is only 12 WW Freestyle points.
If you are considering Weight Watchers, check out our 9 Tips For Getting Started On Weight Watchers post.
Do you have to use non-fat Greek yogurt in 2 Ingredient Dough?
The aforementioned Weight Watchers points are if you use non-fat Greek yogurt. Since most people on Weight Watchers are concerned with WW points, they prefer to use the lower point non-fat Greek yogurt to make 2 Ingredient Dough.
If you want to use full fat Greek yogurt to make your 2 Ingredient Dough you can. Just note that the WW points won’t be the same.
If you’re not concerned about Weight Watchers, then non-fat or full-fat Greek yogurt will both work. And, actually, you can substitute sour cream for the Greek yogurt portion and it works as well.

2 Ingredient Dough Pizza
Pizza is a staple in our house. Pete makes it all the time. But honestly, his dough recipe is a little bit of a pain because it comes out best if the dough rests for 24 hours before use.
This 2 Ingredient Dough Pizza is exactly the opposite. The dough doesn’t have to rest at all, and you can make the pizza so quickly, making this the perfect weeknight meal.

2 Ingredient Dough Meatball Calzones
I bought meatball calzones at the grocery store once, and Pete thought I made them because the dough tasted like 2 Ingredient Dough. So of course, I took that as a challenge and decided to come up with a recipe for 2 Ingredient Dough Meatball Calzones.
These are a great copycat of the grocery store’s recipe — and even better because you don’t have to leave your home to get them.

2 Ingredient Dough White Pizza
Our local pizza parlor in New York makes the best white pizza. Growing up, I always asked for a slice of it when we were getting pizza. So I had to recreate it using 2 Ingredient Dough.
My favorite toppings are broccoli and garlic (that’s what the pizzeria in New York topped its with), but garden tomatoes and garden basil are perfect toppings too.

When you’re on Weight Watchers, you can’t exactly eat the way you used to. So garlic bread is probably out. But these Cheesy Garlic Dough Balls are in.
You’ll get 32 of them in a batch of 2 Ingredient Dough, and the end up being 5 WW Freestyle Points for 4. I didn’t intend on them to be Weight Watchers friendly when I made them (just intended on them being delicious), but they worked out that way.

These pita chips were my biggest hit when I started using 2 Ingredient Dough to make non-bread-looking products. Everyone I served them too loved them.
The only trouble was I didn’t make more because these pita chips went so fast. So now I make triple the batch at once and everyone is happy.
