1. Add a pretty backsplash on your kitchen wall
In most campers, the sink area in the kitchen and bathroom is just covered with beige/brown wallpaper and a wallpaper border. This isn’t really an eye-catcher but can be easily updated. An easy fix to add some wow effect is by adding a colorful, bright peel and stick backsplash. But first, remove the wallpaper border and get rid of any grease on the walls.
And it is so easy to apply. You just stick the tiles onto the wall.

How to prepare the walls before adding the backsplash
The only preparation you should do is to remove the wallpaper border and wipe down the walls. In case there is some grease or grime from cooking, just use a deglosser or warm water with a little detergent and wipe it off. But be sure that the wall is dry before adding the backsplash.
Try out the pattern on how to add the backsplash on the wall without a lot of waste. Keep a utility knife handy in case you have to cut some tiles to fit. Use a ruler or level to make the cuts straight, sometimes you can even use scissors to cut the tiles.
Always cut on the back of the tile, using a level for straight lines. Bend them and they separate easily.
Add wallpaper to make your RV look so much brighter
It is actually pretty easy to add peel and stick wallpaper, if you know how to do it. And if you have someone to help you, it is even better.

2. Update your Jack Knife Sofa
This is an easy fix. I have a lot of sheets I’ve never used collected in my drawer. Fabric I bought because I loved the pattern or pretty curtains I never hung up. If you have a collection like me, check if there is a fabric you could use to cover up the brown fabric of your sofa.
In order to keep the fabric in place add velcro strips on the back of the sofa. You can get velcro strips with adhesive backing. Whenever you have to wash the cover, it is easy to take off and put it back on again.

3. Replace your curtains
I don’t really know what the valances at the windows of my Camper were good for, but they didn’t look very appealing. Especially the dark patterned fabric colors were really hideous.
If you don’t want to remove the valances, cover them up with a different and lighter fabric. Use spray adhesive so the fabric sticks on top of the old fabric.
