If you can't get around the Principality by cab or private car, Monaco's public transport system can take you anywhere in the country in comfort. Public transportation is well developed. There are not only buses, but also boats, tourist streetcars and even escalators.

The best way to get anywhere in the country inexpensively and very quickly is by bus. There are 6 bus routes in the state, one of which is a water route. You can buy tickets from the driver. Prices for travel will depend on the number of trips. For example, a ticket for one trip costs 2 EUR, for a whole day - 5 EUR, and for a month - 25 EUR. Children under the age of 7 can use public transportation for free.

If you want to drive around the Principality and see it from the water, the boat bus is the way to go. It takes you from Monaco-Ville to Monte Carlo for 2 EUR. By taking the tourist streetcar, you can get around all of Monaco's main attractions in 30 minutes. It costs 6 EUR.
